THE NEXT CHAPTER / OUR STORY

Experience shaped us.
Purpose brought us together.

Two different paths. A shared belief that people can find direction again, even when life has taken them somewhere they never expected.

From the front line
to the next chapter.

Army veteran & humanitarian/security professional

Steve on a boat with service colleagues at sunset

Steve has worked in dangerous and demanding environments, where trust, discipline and decisions under pressure matter every day. But leaving the Army brought a different challenge: losing the structure, identity and sense of purpose that military life had given him.

He began asking how the skills he had developed in service could help him build a meaningful life beyond it. Teamwork, responsibility, routine and contributing to others became foundations he could carry into everyday life.

That experience helped shape PURPOSE: a practical framework Steve and Beck have developed together to help people understand what matters to them and turn it into action.

Seeing the struggle.
Believing in change.

Mental Health Nurse & Non-Medical Prescriber

Through her work in community mental health, crisis services, liaison psychiatry and home treatment, Beck has seen how deeply life can unravel. Loss, pressure, difficult circumstances and harmful patterns can affect a person's identity, relationships and hope for the future.

She has also seen people find a way forward with the right support. Change can begin with understanding what is happening, feeling connected and taking one manageable step. A difficult chapter does not have to define the rest of someone's life.

Beck brings that understanding to PURPOSE, creating space for honest reflection, practical tools and realistic choices, alongside the support people may already need.

Different experiences. One shared purpose.

Helping people build confidence, connection and direction for whatever comes next.

Compassion is at the heart of what we do. We care deeply about helping people make meaningful changes in their lives, taking time to listen, understand their experiences and support their next step.

PURPOSE is personal development. It complements existing education, wellbeing and clinical support; it is not therapy or a replacement for treatment.
